Roster:
Tanks: Fiadfiel, Hepatizon
Healers: Jorlena, Kordun, Phinius OR Elistrya, Jorlena, Kordun
DPS: Elsucio, Ktulu, Zahryn, Zsarilya, sub OR Elsucio, Ktulu, Phinius, Zahryn, sub

Plan:
Onyxia
ToC
ToGC
Maybe a little Ulduar

Talking with Cal last night, it seems the buffs a shadowpriest will bring plus the addition of a crazy hotting tree to go with direct healers may in fact be worth losing the gear Eli has -- and if that's what the raid would prefer, I'd be glad to switch to Zsari full-time and Replenish everyone's little hearts out. At the very least Phin will be Shadowing while Jory gets a boomkin set together, so we'll have Replenishment for a few weeks.

So there ya go. Them's the choices, and I'm not really sure what would be better for the raid.

I don't know how the gear Zsari has compares to the gear Phin has stored away, but hers is in raid shape and she is practiced in the spec.

One of 9mans crutches has been having multiple of the same type/style of healers. While our healers do kick ass, there are limitations to what can be done with the tools given. Changing our healing core to paladin/priest/tree adds more aoe healing and lots of hots. I think this would be a positive change once they got the hang of working together. We do loose a 25man geared healer and a second paladin buff, but at least the buff can be mostly compensated for with drums.

Obviously we still want at least one of the healers to to have a dps offspec.

Granted most of this does depend on what people want, and feel comfortable, playing. Depending on what dps we can scrounge up, at least one replenisher is really need for hard mode/togc. I know I'm constantly struggling to have the mana to last those fights.

I'm slowly starting to gather up a list of what would be decent lazer chicken pewpew gear, and I already swapped Jory's offspec to boomkin from feral last night. *whispers* Don't tell Quin I eyed his spec and gear quite a bit as a starting point for what to look for stats/gemming wise.

The extra druid also means one extra innervate to share when Fiad isn't getting his face smashed in.

Well I guess I don't have to write a balance druid guide then. Also, depending on your gear, the innervate might not actually be "extra".

You're always welcome to write a guide! Means less research I have to do at work...you know, with the whole insane dps you put out... >.>

And yeah...about gear...<.< Am working on it!

I am full of zen clam-like happiness playing either Zsari or Eli for a 10man. (Much more comfortable with Eli for a 25-man; the small toolbox helps me out in super chaotic situations, but also two pally healers are helpful there in a way they aren't in a 10man.) How about I bring Zsari and Dulcy trees this week and we see how it goes? Even if I end up switching back for good because we need Eli's gearz0rz, I'll probably be swapping in with Zsari for places where we need 2 healers and way more DPS, what with my Melee DPS Suckitude (tm).

I think bringing Zsari is a good idea... even though her gear falls a bit short. Her gear isn't THAT far off and with 6 bosses pre-ToGC she should catch up gear wise pretty quickly. Having a Druid healer with a DPS off spec would be great... now we just need to fill our last sub spot.

Works for me. And I'm still going to be badge farming like crazy to get some sort of DPS set together. *waits for Quin's feathers of wisdom*

I don't mind healing or shadowing on Phinius, personally. Gear-wise, Phin's shadow gear has a decent bit of an upper hand on Zsari's, though she does have more recent experience in shadow. That said, I did level shadow, and believe I'd have no trouble getting back into it, if we decide to go that route. Just let me know what we want to do.

You guys put me (Maggen) on the calendar for Wednesday, not sure if that was intentional or not. Anyway, here is who I have available if you do need a sub:

TOC/TOGC - Tziva, Merapeh, Aryeh
Ulduar - Maggen, Aryeh

I'm about 95% certain that our roster is as follows:

Tanks: Fiadfiel, Hepatizon
Healers: Jorlena, Kordun, Phinius
DPS: Elsucio, Ktulu, Zahryn, Zsarilya, sub

We've got 8 accepted on the calendar and the mage is slacking as usual. ;)

I'll be logging in a bit late on Zsari due to a ticking flask, and politely request a summon. In return, uh, she has a tabard and will help summon folks to ToC!
